Skipton Mechanics’ Institute is a Charitable Trust pledged to encourage local organisations, associations, schools, colleges and individuals in the pursuance of studies as well as assisting any form of activity or recreation for the improvement of young people by way of a financial grant or scholarship.
Eligibility
Skipton Mechanics' Institute has supported a range of initiatives to enhance the opportunities of those individuals living or organisations in the area of benefit (the former Skipton Urban District Council).

Check you or your organisation is eligible and provide as much information as possible about the funds you are requesting. Include where you are, who will benefit and outline the intended impact on those in reciept of the grant.
Grants are appraised in April, September and December.
